Carrot Gheer (kajar Gheer)

Ingredients :

  1. Carrot - 2-3
  2. Milk - 4 cups
  3. Badam - 25 gms
  4. Sugar - 1 cup
  5. Badam essence - 1 tsp

Preparation

  • Try to peel the outer skin of the carrot, and also shred the carrot
  • Take the shreded carrot and cook it well either in the pressure cooker or in the microwave oven.
  • Soak the badam in water and peel the outer skin of it
  • Then grind the badam well, and add it along with the cooked carrot.
  • Heat the milk in a pan and simmer it for about 20 minutes thenadd the carrot badam mixture to the milk.
  • Then add the sugar and finally when the stove is turned off add the essence to it
  • Serve it cold.
