Angoor Sharbat






Angoor sharbat is one of the fantasies of the east which is now becoming famous in Indians, Angoor Sharbat is one of the chilling sweet recipes famous in the hot season when grapes are available in penty, nutritious and tasty and surely loved by kids. one can chose the variety of grapes either green grapes or the black one. however in early Indian era this drink was associated with people of high income group thus was considered royal but now this is becoming common throughout Indian sub continent and which is available throughout the year. Ready made mixtures of angoor sharbat gives a strong fight to the house-handmade sharbat, however it should be mentioned that every time you make it yourself, you will enjoy more and more









Ingredients:









  1. 1/2 x 3-inch piece of Orange Zest



  2. 1/4 tsp Cardamom Seeds (Elaichi)



  3. 4 whole Cloves (Lavang)



  4. 6 cup Grape Juice (Angoor Ka Raas) (Sweet)



  5. 1/4th cup Honey (Shahad)



  6. 3-inch piece of Cinnamon (Tuj/Dalchini) Stick



  7. 2 cup sparkling Water










Process:






  • Tie the zest, cardamom seeds and cloves in a small piece of cheese cloth



  • Place the juice and honey in a large stainless steel pan and bring it to near the boiling point over moderate heat.



  • Remove the pan from the heat, add the spice bag and cinnamon stick, cover, and set aside until the juice has cooled to tepid



  • Remove the spice bag and cinnamon stick and chill.



  • Add the water before serving.
