Jaljira




Jal Jeera can be best described as Indian spiced and salty lemonade. It is different at first but those who like it, it is absolutely refreshing.








Ingredients







  1. 300 ml lemonade



  2. 1 lemon, juice of



  3. 1 tablespoon jaljira powder



  4. 4-6 sprigs mint leaves paste



  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt (Black salt/ kala namak)



  6. 100 ml. soda - optional




Directions




  1. Mix all.



  2. Add ice.



  3. Stir.



  4. Pour into glasses.



  5. Garnish with mint and lemon slices on top.



  6. Ad some soda if you like/require



Jaljira powder should not be hard to find in India however if not available then pulp of boiled raw mangoes with coriander and chillies can be used (paste of pulp+coriander+chillies in a grinder should be made)
